My name is Emma Hatton, I am a special FX, hair and makeup artist.

I have long had a love of applying makeup and creating large creative transformations. My background in fine art and the performing arts developed into my love for makeup application, being able to turn my artistic vision into a living piece of artwork. when I realised at a young age that I could pursue makeup as a career, I focused my attention on making this dream a reality by specifically catering my art and photography a level into the development of my makeup skills, using people as my canvas and subject.

Throughout my experience studying Makeup for Media and Performance at the Arts University Bournemouth, I was able to develop my skills to an industry standard. I also had the opportunity to work on various short films, theatre productions and personal projects that allowed me to gain professional experience. I soon realised my passion for applying makeup in all contexts, especially film and TV and I am excited to develop my professional career outside of university.
